(Re)Think Exhibition: Where Insurtech Meets Engagement

Open GI, a leading provider of insurance software solutions, partnered with OB to elevate their presence at the UK’s largest insurance event — the BIBA Conference.
Their goal was clear: to stand out in a sea of modular stands and create an experience that reflected Open GI’s innovation, confidence and connection with the broker community.
The design needed to align seamlessly with their ongoing campaign video — ensuring every touchpoint, from the stand structure to on-screen content and printed collateral, told one cohesive brand story.
Challenge

The insurance exhibition circuit is often defined by convention — predictable layouts, polite visuals and fleeting engagement.

Our challenge was to (Re)Think what an insurtech exhibition presence could be:
• immersive but approachable,
• bold but human,
• visually striking yet commercially functional.

Solution

Our design focused on openness, light and interaction.

The open-plan layout created a welcoming flow for visitors, while an illuminated portal provided a striking entry point — symbolising access, innovation and transparency.

At the heart of the stand, a custom chandelier featuring branded elements became a visual anchor, reinforcing identity and drawing people in. Beneath it, the hospitality area transformed networking into experience — with curated cocktails, branded details and a relaxed energy that encouraged real conversations.

Natural materials, greenery and warm lighting added depth and tactility — striking the right balance between premium and personable. The messaging, “Say hi to OGI,” brought warmth and approachability to a high-tech brand world.

Result

The result was a stand that turned heads and built relationships.

High footfall, repeat visits and spontaneous social sharing all confirmed the success of the approach. But the real measure was in how people felt — relaxed, curious, connected.
